To understand my personal situation, in 2008 my debt peaked at over $576k, to date thanks to the grace of God I am DEBT FREE, all from hard work and selling things to pay debt. Adhering to Dave Ramsey’s program helped keep me focused.
The gift you give today would be distributed as follows: 10% tithe, 60% trafficking projects (Wellspring, Redemption Ridge and others) and 30% allocated to repairs and living expenses.
One of the main trafficking projects we are looking at helping is a close friend start a home similar to Wellspring’s project, but with a more personal and focused center for treatment of the severe cases of psychological damage from abuse. This would focus on coping mechanisms like DID that many have because of the extreme abuse they experience.
