1 John 2:7 –
Dear friends, I am not writing a new commandment for you; rather it is an old one you have had from the very beginning. This old commandment—to love one another—is the same message you heard before.
Think about it … you obey this one, and all the others kinda just happen!! You love someone and you are less likely to wrong that person … this is a simple verse to analyze.
Don’t fall into the “you always hurt the ones you love” trap … you will hurt them from time to time, but don’t think that to be fact and therefore not concern yourself with their feelings. Look at it as a test … and also, if you do hurt them look at is as SIN!! From yesterday, CONFESS to God, but also to the person you hurt.
Psalm 119:165 –
“Those who love your instructions have great peace and do not stumble.”
