Look here, you rich people: Weep and groan with anguish because of all the terrible troubles ahead of you.“
Since we are not here yet … save this in the back of your bible and read it when you are there. It’s got some good stuff on why rich get themselves in trouble!! 🙂
James 5:9 – "Don’t grumble about each other, brothers and sisters, or you will be judged. For look—the Judge is standing at the door!
James 5:7-12 is what affects us now! When we are going through hard times – or just waiting for the harvest, we need patience and endurance. Everything will come in its time. So rest easy! Also when times get tough, rejoice because they are making us stronger. Why is it when everything is hunky dory we seem to forget to praise God and somehow think we had something to do with the good times? The key to verse 9 is not to get hung up about trivia. We tend to be envious about others when our times ar tough. We tend to get upset easier at these times. We … (can I get a "But DAD ???) are all guilty of this a good bit of the time.
"Don’t Worry … Be Happy” (or keeping with a reggae theme, “every little thing’s gonna be all right”) … Look at the hardship and just have hope that when it’s all over, you will be saying WOW! Crazy how that happened. And there will be emotion and excitement!
