Can’t Get Rid of God

Genesis 1:1 is probably the most controversial verse in the
entire Bible:

In the beginning God created the
heaven and the earth.

Questions arise all over the place, when was “the beginning”?
Did it take 6 days or 13.7 billion years? Does God even exist to start this? The
questions abound. Through science and every attempt to disprove God everything
tends to point right back at Him.

What if the universe was created in 13.7 billion years, does
that discredit the Bible? Not at all, there is a little phenomenon called time
dilation where two observers can experience different time frames. When things
start to travel at or close to the speed of light the calculations start to get
wildly different. Like suddenly one observer would see the universe created in
13.7 billion years while the other would see it happen in 6 days. Since it
appears to be “proven” that the universe actually expanded at greater than the
speed of light for the first few milliseconds of the Big Bang that not becomes
a possible reality that points back to the Bible being an accurate document.

We can go on and on through Genesis 1 and argue that science
is proving the accuracy of these words and is showing validity to the creation
story. Although science would argue that I am insane, I as an engineer would
argue show me. The logical explanation either has a creator or not and the pool
of data can be included in both stories without argument other than the
existence of a creator God.

Evolutionists insist that we cannot move science forward
without an ardent rejection of God and total belief in evolution. Ironically
some of the greatest discoveries in science have been from theists, so Bill Nye’s
assertion (he is the one who seems to push that agenda the most) is flawed. And
as we get into the sub-atomic realm we discover God is again more real.

We look at this meat suit we live in and analyze what drives
it and notice how it interacts with nature on a sub-atomic level, aka energy.
We suddenly realize the image of God is the “spirit” inside us and not the meat
suit we try to impose on God. So we now understand God on a completely
different level.

And what about the “God particle” or The Higgs Boson which
ironically does not really point to God scientifically. It got it’s name more
as a joke since they couldn’t call it the G-d particle and it was a finding of “biblical”
proportions in science. Although it is dismissed as proving God, it does prove
that things do not always seem as they appear since particles just kind of
appear and disappear in this boson.

So when all is said and done we see that the pesky
subject of God cannot be disproven through scientific method by atheists trying
to do so. Stay tuned as we find more.
