Simple and sweet, this is it. This is why Jesus is the “one” … the empty grave.
If you do not know Him, it’s simple and will be life changing. You need to accept Jesus as your savior, believe that He is who He said He was and confess your sins before Him.
A simple prayer like:
Lord, I have come to believe that this man Jesus is real and did walk this earth as a man. He died for MY sins and was raised again on the third day. You are the one and only God and through the sacrifice of your son, your first born, all our sins our forgiven if we place them at the cross and confess. Because of this I confess that I have fallen short of your glory. Please forgive my sins and wash them clean with the blood of Jesus. Accept me into your kingdom and through the Holy Spirit guide me through life. I understand this is not a “easy” button to life but rather the only way to salvation with You. Help keep my new path straight and true. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
If you prayed this or something like it, welcome to the kingdom of heaven … two big keys, don’t purposefully do wrong thinking you can confess, I know from personal experience this has bad results. Second, don’t become legalistic in thinking you MUST do this or that. No Jesus does say make disciples, and once you have been discipled you can do the same. Find a person of faith and ask if you can be discipled by them, they will not say NO!!
