Quantum Mechanics AND Understanding God

John 14:9 –

Jesus replied, “Have I been with you all this time, Philip, and yet you still don’t know who I am? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father! So why are you asking me to show him to you?”

This chapter is one of those tough ones to pick a verse, not because it’s sparse but because it’s rich. Verse 6 reiterates John 3:16 by saying “no one can come to the Father except through me.” That is so powerful when you think about it and one of the most controversial statements from other religions. Many say how can this be, God would not be so “exclusive” in welcoming people to His kingdom. Jesus said this and I can only believe it.

If you continue past this verse 13 is the prosperity preachers verse. If we just ask in Jesus’ name it will be granted. Suddenly this verse makes Jesus out to be a Genie and preachers take advantage of this. Please note Jesus was in the Garden begging God for His life, but added “your will be done!” He was not spared the suffering, because God’s will is greater than ours. I remember Garth Brook’s song, “some of Gods greatest gifts are unanswered prayers!”

Now this verse is one of the key verses to the “Holy Trinity”. Jesus is answering His disciples to the question that they wish to see God. It is hard for us to understand God being a son, father and spirit, especially since the scriptures spell them out different. But honestly it’s a concept that is so difficult to understand. It’s in the realm of quantum physics for simple understanding. If you release your basic understandings of physical laws it’s easy to get. But the releasing of those stigmas is what is difficult.

To describe God in the quantum world, He is like energy. Always was and always will be. Never created or destroyed. He goes through form, into form and out of form easily. He is everywhere and in everything. From here you can understand God as “conscious” energy. From there it’s easy to see God as multiple beings at the same time. This “God Head” concept makes God seem like a three headed dragon and not a loving God that embraces us all the time! So you see it’s all about quantum mechanics to get to God.
