Tears of Love Today

Psalm 144:12 –

May our sons flourish in their youth like well-nurtured plants. May our daughters be like graceful pillars, carved to beautify a palace.

I read this today with a heavy heart because of the weight of family pressures. My prayers each and every day include you two and always will. As a parent we get the short end of the stick some times when you are having issues. When you have problem we are usually your whipping post. Yet still we don’t leave your side, our love is unconditional.

We wish the best for you and always will, our prayers are not for you to get by in life. No our prayers are for you to become the best in whatever you do. You both are at a point in your life as young adults where our relationship gets strained. Part because you think since you’re an adult you’re independent and therefore do not need your parents instruction. Of course this is outside providing a home, insurance, phone and internet service, food and other items required in daily life.

You two are the pillars of my life, and as I write this I am sick to my stomach. For once in my life I can relate to how God must feel when we stray from His loving care. He wants us to be independent, but never running away. He wants loving contact as much as possible, not a closed door or an empty room. As I write this, tears stream down my eyes because my love for you is so intense. This is what God must have to deal with each and every day with humanity, it’s a wonder He’s not callous … but then again it’s been 20 years and my love is stronger, not callous.
