Suppose a prophet full of lies would say to you, “I’ll preach to you the joys of wine and alcohol!“ That’s just the kind of prophet you would like!
Oh you could go on and on about this … someone in Gods name saying it’s ok to do something you know is wrong, either in your heart or by the Law***.
John 5:39 states "diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life.” Just because someone says it … or its on the internet … don’t believe it to be fact, double check in your bible what is said. Even with teachers you “trust” … every man is fallible, the word is not.
I have lost faith because of this, not only finding out someone was wrong or not complete in the message … I have also lost faith because someone states scriptural truth and I did not want to hear it. Kinda funny how the mind works … we hear what we want to hear.
Hmmmm … seems listening is a theme;-)

*** The Ten Commandments are kinda the Bill of Rights … their the basics but the Law is much deeper than that!
