Just rambling as I hit the road without network connectionor a Bible. I am going to start reading Yancy\u2019s book Prayer and see what I
\nlearn. The importance of prayer in monumental in interfacing with God and
\ncannot be second guessed. We have barely tapped into the promise from Jesus in
\nJohn 14:12<\/a><\/b> where we should be doing greater things:<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/sup><\/b>I tell you
\nthe truth: whoever believes in Me will be able to do what I have done, but they
\nwill do even greater things, because I will return to be with the Father.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t think we have really tapped into prayer or the ultimate
\npower it has. Ann Bandini has a great book that gives us hope, but at the same
\ntime I don\u2019t see the world being healed by believers either. I see an idle
\nchurch waiting for Jesus to return. When He does I am afraid he will be
\ndisappointed with our lack of faith.<\/p>\n

Sure we may pray but do we believe what we pray will happen
\nor just hope? When we say \u201cIn Jesus\u2019 name\u201d is that a flowery ending or a
\npowerful stamp? I struggle with this often even when I see answered prayers, I
\noften feel there must be more.<\/p>\n

In reality life and death, pain and joy, and all the other
\njoys of life will be with us till Jesus returns. We will always ask why when
\nour prayers seemed ignored. Why some get a \u201chealing\u201d and others die or suffer.
\nI struggle with this myself having been technically raised from the dead. I
\nthank God for my life every day as the story was I was blue and without oxygen
\nto my brain for over 5 minutes. I should not be here!!<\/p>\n

At the same time I have seen people suffering and dying
\noften with the same problem I had and ask why me and not them. We need to
\nunderstand we are living in a world we cannot see fully. God can and does what
\nhe does for a reason. Often we never understand, but must have faith over time.<\/p>\n

So keep praying and trying to heal the sick, make the
\nlame walk and raise the dead. When it happens the GLORY need to all fall at the
\nfeet of Jesus!!<\/p>\n
